U-M solar car finishes third in world race Down Under

With a cutting-edge solar car, an advanced strategy and an intrepid 16-student race crew, the U-M national champion solar car team placed third in the World Solar Challenge, an international competition that began on the north shore of Australia in Darwin on Oct. 16.
