Sandia National Laboratories and the University of Michigan are pleased to announce an opening for a joint Postdoctoral Research Fellow in electronic structure modeling of materials for electrical energy storage. The goal of the project is to apply Density Functional Theory and related theoretical methods to characterize materials and phenomena of relevance to lithium ion and metal-air batteries. The position is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy’s U.S.-China Clean Energy Research Center – Clean Vehicles Consortium.
