Energy Research
Professor Marsh’s research focuses on two areas of chemical biology that have medical and environmental significance: discovering new enzymes involved in hydrocarbon metabolism that can be used to produce next generation biofuels, and synthesizing novel proteins and peptides that incorporate fluorinated amino acids.
