Energy Research
Professor Hartman’s research is focused on the use of neutron scattering techniques to understand the physical properties of matter. His recent work has been concerned with gaining insight into the structural and dynamical properties of various materials proposed for solid-state hydrogen storage, including metal-organic framework (MOF) compounds, novel metal hydrides, and complex metal hydrides.
