Professor Lehnert’s current research focuses on the biological role of nitric oxide (bioinorganic chemistry and biophysics), the development of homogeneous catalysts for the generation of the sustainable energy carrier hydrogen (organometallic chemistry and energy sciences), and artificial enzymes (biocatalysis).
