Energy Research
Professor Savage’s research interests include use of water and supercritical fluids for sustainable production of chemicals, materials, and energy, hydrogen production from biomass by gasification in supercritical water, biodiesel production from plant oils via reactions in water and supercritical fluids, “green” chemical synthesis in high-temperature water, and nanoparticle synthesis in high-temperature water.
