Michigan Technical Conference on Alternative Fuel Vehicles
Top experts from the auto industry, alternative fuel vehicle market, and major utilities are scheduled to participate in discussions about electric vehicle (EV) and natural gas vehicle (NGV) deployment during the upcoming Michigan Technical Conference on Alternative Fuel Vehicles.
The Aug. 9, 2017, conference is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will address the future of utility-based vehicle programs in Michigan. It is co-sponsored by the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) and the Michigan Agency for Energy (MAE). (MPSC case No. U-18368).
Representatives from Ford Motor Co., General Motors Co., Fiat Chrysler and the Center for Automotive Research will participate in a panel discussion on EV technology and trends. Also, speakers from DTE Electric and Consumers Energy will be part of discussions about regulation and government policy, and natural gas vehicles. Others expected to participate in the conference are representatives from plug-in station companies ChargePoint, Greenlots and Siemens AG, Natural Gas Vehicles for America, Edison Electric Institute, SEMCO Energy Gas Co., Navigant Consulting and Michigan State University.
