Keith J. Watson

Biography: 

Keith Watson is vice president for Core R&D. He oversees a broad portfolio of corporate research programs and world leading innovation capabilities that enable technology development across multiple key market segments.

Previously, Keith was the global director of R&D and TS&D for Coatings, Monomers & Plastic Additives. He has also held positions as global director of strategic marking for Specialty Chemicals, senior director of strategy and strategic marketing for Thermosets, lead R&D director for Polyglycols, Surfactants, Fluids and Amines businesses, senior strategy leader for Global R&D and various research roles in Core R&D.

Keith was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada, and received a BSc degree in chemistry from Mount Allison University in 1997. He moved to the US to attend graduate school and received MS and PhD degrees in chemistry from Northwestern University in 1998 and 2001, respectively. He received the prestigious CFA charter in 2011.
