General Info

The TE3 Conference meeting will be held October 25th, 2018 – October 26th, 2018 at the University of Michigan Golf Course, located at 500 East Stadium Boulevard, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. The 1.5-day event begins at 12 p.m. on Thursday, October 25th with registration and networking, and the conference agenda begins at 1:15 p.m. in the Glick Ballroom. An optional reception and student poster session from 5:20 to 7:00 will be held afterwards in conjunction with the UM Conference on Transportation, Economics, Energy and the Environment. Day 2 of the event begins with registration and breakfast at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, with a short welcome at 9:00 a.m. and the first session at 9:15 a.m. The conference concludes with closing remarks at 4:20 p.m. on Friday, October 26th. Attire is business casual.

Parking and Transit

There will be free onsite parking for guests this year.

Bus directions: If coming from the Bell Tower Hotel or the Inn at the Michigan League, walk east on N University Ave to Central Campus Transit Center. Take the Commuter South route to the Crisler Center/Lot SC-7 stop. Walk south-southeast toward Stadium Blvd, then cross E Stadium Blvd to arrive at the Golf Course. To return to either location, take either Commuter North or Commuter South to Central Campus Transit Center, then walk west on N University Ave.

Meals

Lunch will be provided during the TE3 conference. A reception will also take place following the end of sessions on the first day of the conference. Any dietary restrictions or allergies can be noted during the registration process.

Accommodations

For conference attendees who require lodging, a variety of hotels are available in Ann Arbor for guests to choose from. The Campus Inn, located at 615 E Huron Street, and the Bell Tower Hotel located at 300 S Thayer Street are both within walking distance to the Michigan League. There are a number of hotels located outside of downtown Ann Arbor that are a short drive from the Michigan League; some suggestions are Kensington Court, TownePlace Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, and Holiday Inn Express & Suites.
