Biography

After 20 years as an academic environmental economist at the University of California at Davis and the University of Michigan, Gloria Helfand now works for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Transportation and Air Quality, where she is involved with regulatory analyses and research primarily related to the economic impacts of vehicle greenhouse gas emissions standards. She has a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
