Jonathan B. Scott
Jonathan B. Scott is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Energy Institute at Haas at the University of California, Berkeley. He received his Ph.D. in Economics in 2018 from Texas A&M University. His research interests are concentrated on the fields of Industrial Organization and Public Economics, and primarily deal with issues related to energy and the environment. His research has mainly focused on the environmental externalities produced by the energy and transportation sectors, with an emphasis on policy-driven solutions. His work on consumer behavior in the transportation sector has largely focused on the types of preferences driving the growing demand for SUVs and light trucks in America.
