Lang Sui is a research scientist in the strategic transportation analysis team at Aramco Research Center-Detroit, a global research center of Saudi Aramco. Lang’s research aims to improve understanding of changes in the transportation landscape and the impact on future energy demand. Her current focus involves research on vehicle electrification, battery technology, changes in vehicle-use dynamics, alternative mobility modes, and OEM CAFE and GHG performance.
She has a PhD and BSE in materials science and engineering from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Prior to joining Aramco, she worked for four years at Hyundai-Kia America Technical Center in Ann Arbor, MI and was a post-doc at the National Energy Technology Laboratory in Pittsburg.
